As part of the Administrative Organising Committee I played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the HarmonyWorks! Conference 2023 in Singapore. My responsibilities encompassed implementing a registration system, enhancing the conference experience for both attendees and volunteers. I also managed intricate logistical details, overseeing the procurement and distribution of goodie bags and liaising with food suppliers to cater to participants' needs. Additionally, I took charge of organising and executing the conference programme, facilitating activities that actively promoted racial inclusivity and unity.

Through my involvement in the conference, I honed my organisational skills, mastering the art of multitasking and meticulous planning. Coordinating diverse elements of the event, I developed strong vendor management and negotiation skills, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality. My ability to streamline processes and enhance participant experiences was instrumental in fostering a sense of unity among attendees. Moreover, I gained invaluable experience in fostering cross-cultural understanding and harmony, skills that are crucial in today's globalised world.

As a Member of the External Public Relations Subcommittee, I played a pivotal role in promoting the School of Humanities and Social Sciences' offerings and programmes. In this position, I was tasked with designing compelling and visually appealing publicity posts tailored for various social media platforms. My responsibilities extended beyond design; I actively engaged with the general public, fostering a vibrant online community interested in the school’s initiatives. Through strategic communication and creative content creation, I effectively conveyed the school's mission and values to a wider audience, enhancing its online presence and reputation.

This experience honed my skills in graphic design, social media management, and public relations. I acquired a deep understanding of audience engagement strategies, learning to tailor messages for diverse demographics. Additionally, my ability to collaborate within a team environment was strengthened as I actively participated in brainstorming sessions and collaborated with fellow committee members. This role not only enhanced my creativity but also bolstered my communication skills, enabling me to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
