Education Background
What I Did.
Currently, I’m doing a Diploma of Art Business Management which is a diploma that helps a person like myself to acquire the right skills to help arts and heritage organisations in the arts and cultural sector. While pursuing this diploma, I have been completing different modules, which teach us about the management, marketing, and financing the arts and heritage organisations.
Through the diploma, I have been made aware of the subtleties involved in managing arts and heritage organisations. Over the course of this diploma, I have undertaken a range of modules including Academic Writing & Presentation, Introduction to the Arts 1 and 2 (Music, Visual Art, Theatre and Dance), Introduction to Arts & Heritage Management and more. Other modules focused on practical skills teach Festival and Event Management, Arts Marketing & Communication, Human Capital Management, and so on. All the modules have added to my overall understanding of the arts sector and the players that operate in the field.
What I Learned.
Through my studies, I have enhanced my capacity to manage arts & heritage institutions with precision and creativity. I understand how to create a marketing plan for many audiences and how to apply financial principles to ensure sustainability within arts and cultural organizations. The emphasis on practical learning experiences expanded my knowledge base and equipped me with the essential practical skills to work effectively in the ever-evolving field of arts and heritage management.
Modules like Community Art and Outreach have helped me understand the importance of connecting with the community and how art can help unite people. I have learnt from these modules how cultural efforts can help people connect and include one another, further affirming my slogan for the arts to enhance people and communities.
Goals for Continued Learning.
Translating my learnings in school into action will be my main goal upon graduating. I intend to undertake internships or volunteer work in arts organizations to gain direct experience in project management and community engagement.
Moreover, I want to take part in workshops and seminars that cover new trends in the field such as arts management, cultural policy, and digital marketing strategies. I also hope to take on leadership roles in group projects and community initiatives which can also improve my collaboration and team management abilities.
This educational experience has strengthened my resolve to contribute to the arts and heritage sector, and I look forward to applying what I have learned to create meaningful cultural experiences and foster connections within the community.

What I Did.
I achieved a Nitec in Business Services after working hard. During my studies, I learned how to manage complex front-desk service and selling services. I became skilled in arranging effective business events and was very good at service recovery in different business areas. Attending lectures, participating in seminars, or preparing for internship presentations were never daunting tasks for me. Rather, I enjoyed the entire learning process.
I engaged with the ever-growing digital space through modules like Introduction to Data Analytics & Cyber Security and Social Media Marketing. This ensured that I was aware of new technologies and helped me adjust to the rapidly changing business roles that businesses need to be aware of for their marketing roles.
What I Learned.
During my academic journey, I acquired a robust understanding of essential business concepts and functions. I realized that communication and customer relations are critical to the working of every business. My practical exposure with modules like Event Planning & Administration and Sales Techniques & Engagement developed my problem-solving and organization skills significantly throughout the course of my study.
Also, my involvement with digital devices and platforms through modules such as Data Analytics and Social Media Marketing was instrumental in helping me leverage technology for developing effective business strategies. Nowadays, one needs to be adaptive and innovative in order to make it big in business.
Goals for Continued Learning.
Moving forward, I would want to look for opportunities where I can apply my skills in business management and digital marketing practically. My plan is to go for various workshops and training sessions to enhance my expertise in advanced data analytics, digital marketing strategies, and effective leadership.
I also looking forward to internships or entry-level jobs in fast-paced business ecosystems where I can utilize my knowledge and gain experience. I also seek connections with experts to provide opportunities for collaboration that will enhance my knowledge and skills. This insight has made me realise the importance of continuous learning and development in a professional setting, and I will apply the learnings of my training in future.

General Certificate of Education N (Technical) Level
What I Did.
I pursued and obtained my General Certificate of Education N (Technical) Level, graduating at the top of my class. Throughout my academic life, I obtained first place in multiple subjects. In 2018, I received the Top in English Language and Science Secondary award for 3 Normal (Technical), which I was quite thankful for. In 2017, I was also awarded Top in Standard, which is for Computer Applications and Design & Technology and English Language for Secondary 2 Normal (Technical). Furthermore, I was awarded Top in Standard for Computer Applications for Secondary 1 Normal Technical back in 2016 which showed my commitment towards studies.
I made an active contribution in the clubs and societies of the school as well. Being a member of the Infocomm and Media Club, I learnt more about technology and event management while meeting others with the same interest as me. My contribution to the school spirit was the participation in many events like the Morning Assembly, Investiture of Student Leaders, Inauguration of the Secondary One Students, etc. In addition, my involvement as a Young Ambassador allowed me to demonstrate my commitment to leadership and community involvement. I engaged with fellow students and represented the school at various functions.
What I Learned.
My experience was a deep dive into business principles and engaging the community more deeply. I developed disciplined study habits and time management in accordance with my performance level. Winning first place awards in English Language and Science helped me learn a lot and increased my confidence level greatly.
Being a member of the Infocomm and Media Club has taught me the importance of teamwork, communication, and leadership. Working on projects helped me to understand how to work with different people and communicate well in the group. Working as a Young Ambassador really showed me how we can engage with the community. I also learnt how to use my leadership skills to create a positive change in the community.
Goals for Continued Learning.
As I envisioned my future, I believe that I will have the best tools to build upon the education and leadership. I hope to further my studies in a discipline tied to technology, communications or arts management, which would enable me to embrace innovative ideas.
In addition, I desire to participate in extracurricular activities in tertiary which will help me with developing my leadership and teamwork skills. Taking part in workshops aimed at effective communication, project management and outreach will be important for me.
Moreover, I want to engage with professionals or mentors in the field of my choice as I will be directed towards my future career. I want to stick to my promise of lifelong learning and giving back to the community after all that I have experienced in secondary school. Thus, I will apply these learnings in my life ahead.
